Where these numbers come from
Each bank's own website
We read every bank's published rates once a day, in the late afternoon. Banks usually set their rates in the morning and can change them during the day, so confirm with your bank before you trade.
Paying and getting
“You pay” is the bank's selling rate: Jamaican dollars for one unit of the foreign currency. “You get” is its buying rate. Most banks pay more for a transfer or cheque than for cash.
Who isn't listed
Sagicor Bank's website blocks automated reading, and Lasco Cambio publishes its rates only as an image, so neither is included. Inkress doesn't set, offer or guarantee any of these rates.
